Nothing should be left to chance when you plan a party. At Vollan Gjestestue we assist in planning, organising and hosting your event, ensuring that it will be unforgettable for both you and your guests.

OUR FACILITIES

GURISTUA

Guristua is a small and intimate room which sits just by the side of the cafe. The room is decorated in traditional log style and has a big TV. Guristua is named after the original owner, Gurdrun “Guri” Lydersen who started the guesthouse 70 years ago.

Capacity: 6 people

TORILSTUA

Torilstua is a cosy and charming room located right next to the cafe. It is decorated in a traditional yet modern style with a large meeting table and TV.

Capacity: 14 people

HILDURSTUA

A larger room in the café which is secluded from the rest. Perfect for private parties.

Capacity: 30 people.

ODDSTUA

Oddstua is one of our larger dining rooms. The room is recently renovated and has a modern and cozy atmosphere.

Capacity: 55 people

MENU I – REINDEER JOY

SMOKED SALMON CREAM
Smoked salmon cream arranged together with salad and toast.
Allergens: F: Fish, G: Gluten (bread), M: Milk

WARM SMOKED REINDEER STEAK
Sourced from Hjerttind reindeer, we smoke the meat with our own unique method. Served with cream of forest soup, vegetables, sauce and oven baked Mandel potatoes from Storfjord.

CREAM CHEESE PANACOTTA
We should have created a good north Norwegian name for this, but the most important fact is, that it’s exceptionally good. Topped with cloudberry puree.

Topped with slices of mutton leg from Hamnvåg and croutons.

Lamb from Hamnvåg salted and marinated in beer from Mack brewery. Served with carrot puree, sauce and Mandel potatoes from Storfjord.

Bayer beer from Mack brewery in a glorious symphony with home-made chocolate ice cream topped with cloudberry puree.
